Fertility, Endometriosis, Pregnancy & Paediatric Nutrition

Whatever brought you here, you're in the right place.

Welcome, we’re so glad you’re here.

We're Elise and Rach, two accredited practising dietitians and best mates who built Hera Nutrition because we got fed up watching women leave appointments with a generic pamphlet and more questions than answers. So we started doing things differently.

A person sitting on a bed holding a cup of coffee with latte art, using a laptop on their lap.

Picture this…

It's 11pm. You're in bed, phone in hand, six tabs open about what to eat to support your fertility. The first article tells you to cut gluten. The second says gluten is fine. The third is trying to sell you a supplement. You close them all more confused than when you opened them.

Or maybe you're pregnant and eating as well as you can but a tiny voice in the back of your head keeps asking whats foods are actually safe. Or you've been managing endometriosis for years and nobody, not once, has mentioned that what you eat could make a difference.

Or your little one was just diagnosed with CMPA and you're standing in the supermarket aisle reading every single label, completely overwhelmed, with absolutely no idea where to start.

Sound familiar? That's exactly why we're here.

Two young women sitting outdoors in front of green plants, smiling at the camera. One wears a white shirt and a patterned skirt; the other wears a black top and a plaid shirt.

Why we started Hera.

We met at uni, became besties, and spent a lot of time talking about how much better things could be for women navigating the health system.

Elise kept hearing the same thing from parents, strategies that looked great on paper but fell apart the second real life got in the way. Rach kept hearing from people who had been told to eat well and exercise more, with no real guidance on what any of that actually looked like for their fertility.

We knew the research said otherwise. We knew personalised nutrition could genuinely change things for these women, people and families. So eventually we stopped talking about it and made it happen.

Hera Nutrition is what we wished had existed all along. A place where you get real, tailored support from someone who listens, builds a plan around your actual life, and stays in your corner for the long haul.

Where we can help you.

    Rachel Gearon

Fertility & Endometriosis Dietitian & Nutritionist

Hi! I'm Rach, an accredited practising dietitian with a passion for fertility and endometriosis nutrition.

I've sat with so many people who have spent years managing endo symptoms or navigating their fertility journey, often feeling like they've exhausted every option and nobody has quite connected all the dots for them.

Evidence shows that dietary changes can help manage endometriosis symptoms in some people, and research suggests nutrition can optimise fertility outcomes by up to 69%.

When we work together, I take the time to understand what's actually going on for you, what you've already tried, and what realistic change looks like in your life. You won't leave with a generic handout. You'll leave with a plan that's yours.

    Elise Carter

Paediatric & Pregnancy Dietitian & Nutritionist

Hi! I’m Elise, an accredited practising dietitian with a passion for pregnancy, postpartum and paediatric nutrition.

I kept seeing parents sitting across from me, exhausted from conflicting advice and defeated after trying everything they could to feed their family well. I knew personalised, practical support could change that.

When we work together, I take the time to understand how your family actually works, what's realistic on a busy weeknight, and what will fit into your life without adding to an already full plate.

"We're here for the messy, beautiful, complicated bits of life that nobody hands you a guide for. The fertility journey, the pregnancy, the endo flare, the baby with CMPA. We're here to support you every step of the way" - Rach & Elise
